I’m excited about the new urban condos coming to Midtown in Phoenix. The new development will take over the corner at Central Ave. & Lewis — the former home of Child Help. The building will undergo demolition this summer and the new $22 million condo development is slated for completion in 2016. The brain child of Deco Communities, a Scottsdale-based company, the new complex will be called Edison Midtown. Deco Communities is known for buying land in up-and-coming areas, creating unique living spaces that cater to the tech generation, and appeal specifically to true urban dwellers! This particular development is just off the Central/Encanto light rail stop — it couldn’t get any more convenient than that.
The complex will house 80 unique units with city light views, ranging in size from 800-1350 square feet. Each unit will have repurposed counter tops, large walk-in closets, wood flooring, and balconies large enough for entertaining. Outdoor amenities are designed to forge a sense of community with a garden courtyard pool, recreation/cross-fit center, secure bike storage, and electric car charging stations just to name a few. Best of all, prices will be affordable, starting in the high $200’s.
Edison Midtown will be open for reservations this summer. Visit www.liveatedison.com or call 480-850-2026.
