Yaple Park Historic District
The boundaries of Yaple Park Historic District are: The Grand Canal to the north, Turney Avenue to the south, 3rd Avenue to 7th Avenue.
The Yaple Park neighborhood was developed by Floyd Medlock on land that was originally farmed by the Yaple family. Here, Medlock built 103 homes between 1929 and 1938, most of which are Transitional Early Ranch Style. Yaple Park’s proximity to the Melrose District makes it a popular neighborhood.
